Liza Weil on “Grey’s Anatomy”
Liza Weil (Paris Geller on Gilmore Girls) guest starred last night in the incredible 2-hour season finale of Grey’s Anatomy.
Yeah, it was an episode with drama. MAJOR drama. My jaw dropped at the end, that’s for sure. Liza Weil guest starred in the episode as Allison, a cancer patient who is close friends with Izzie. She serves as an inspiration for Izzie, her tumors having disappeared without surgical intervention. However, there’s an unexpected dramatic even there too. However, my favorite part was when Allison was checking out Alex’s butt. Too cute.
You can see Liza Weil a few times in these video clips of Izzie’s moments:

Liza Weil on “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”
Liza Weil (Paris Geller on Gilmore Girls) guest starred last night on an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation on CBS.
The episode, “A Space Oddity“, follows Hodges and Wendy as they investigate a murder at a science fiction convention for a cult tv show, ‘Astro Quest’, where they were both attending in costume as fans. The murder is one of the actors from the show following a Redux, like a reunion show. Liza guest starred as Risa Parvess, one of fans of the show and a suspect in the murder. The episode starts off very much like a classic sci-fi show. It’s fantastic.
US viewers, you can head over here to watch the episode. You can see Liza at 24 minutes into the episode. She’s fantastically unstable - it’s a great scene. She appears again 28 minutes in when she’s being interrogated. CBS doesn’t allow their videos to be on YouTube, so I can’t find a snippet there for you with Liza in it.

Liza Weil (Paris Geller on Gilmore Girls) has been busy making the circuit for television guest appearances! Not only will we be seeing Liza in upcoming episodes of In Plain Sight and CSI, she’ll also be one of many Gilmore Girls stars to make an appearance on Grey’s Anatomy this season!
This season Emily Kuroda (Mrs. Kim) guest starred, as did Susane Lee (Kyon). According to Ausiello, Liza Weil will guest star in the 2-hour season finale of Grey’s Anatomy on May 14th.
Liza is slated to appear in the series as a cancer patient who crosses paths with Izzie (and considering what Izzie is going through, I imagine it could be a dramatic role to fill!).

Liza Weil in “The Missing Person”
January 22, 2009 by Arieanna
Liza Weil (Paris Geller on Gilmore Girls) stars in The Missing Person, a film currently screening at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
Michael Shannon (Revolutionary Road) stars in The Missing Person as John Rosow, a private detective prone to sardonic wit, gin and the mixing of the two. Rosow is hired to tail a man, Harold Fullmer (Frank Wood) on a train from Chicago to LA, gradually uncovering Harold’s identity as a missing person… one who was presumed dead after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Persuaded by the promise of a large reward, Rosow is charged to bring Harold back to his wife in NY against his will. In so doing, Rosow must face if it’s right to return a man to a life that no longer exists for him. To answer this, he must face the pain in his own past.
Liza Weil stars in The Missing Person as Agent Chambers, one of the “meddling” FBI agents that comes in contact with Rosow in LA. You can see Liza in the trailer below about a minute into it.

Liza Weil on “Eleventh Hour”
January 19, 2009 by Arieanna
Liza Weil (Paris Geller on Gilmore Girls) was a guest star on the January 15th episode of new series Eleventh Hour on CBS.
The episode, entitled H20, followed Dr. Jacob Hood (Rufus Sewell) investigating an epidemic of violent outbursts by people in a small Texas town, only to find himself also behaving erratically. Liza Weil’s character in the episode was Ashley Filmore, wife of the first man to be shown going crazy by beating someone up for having more than 10 items in the express lane at the grocery store. At first, Ashley and the police think it was Filmore’s drug problem setting him off… until they figured it all out, of course.
So far, there aren’t any video clips from this episode online. If I can find some, I’ll update the post!

John Cabrera to Pen “H+” Web Series
December 21, 2008 by Arieanna
John Cabrera (Brian Fuller on Gilmore Girls) has turned his hand from acting to work behind the camera. Together with Cosimo De Tommaso, John Cabrera will be writing and executive producing a new live action web series with Warner Premiere. The thriller series, H+, is a Sci Fi story about a semi-apocalyptic future after an act of cyber-terrorisism wipes out most of the world… the part of the world where people’s brains were hardwired to the Web (Sound Sci Fi enough?).
John Cabrera and Cosimo De Tommaso pitched H+ as a regular tv series, but were persuaded to make it a digital offering. Once the project is complete (maybe mid 2009), it’s likely to make its way to TheWB.com for us to watch! The web series has not yet been cast, though Bryan Singer is attached as an overseeing producer; the project is still looking for a director.
This is not John’s first foray into working behind the camera. He has directed the short film Crazy Love, the featurette The Man Who Invented the Moon, which starred Sean Gunn (Kirk on Gilmore Girls), and Affair Game in 2004 with Liza Weil (Paris Geller on Gilmore Girls)
