Adam Brody (Dave Rygalski on Gilmore Girls) was seen a couple of days ago heading out for vegan food with his friends:

Adam Brody can be seen in the upcoming movie Jennifer’s Body (out in September) and there’s a rumor that Adam has landed the role of The Flash / Barry Allen in Justice League: Mortal, the 2011 movie about Marvel superheroes, The Avengers. This could be a big role for him, so I hope it works out!

Hep Alien is the name of Lane Kim’s band in Gilmore Girls, though the name was hard to come by (if you recall from their first gig in Keg! Max!)! In obscure trivia, the name of the band came from an anagram for one of the Gilmore Girls producers, whose name is Helen Pai. Anyway, after writing that fun post about Keiko Agena playing bass yesterday, I thought we could talk about where the Hep Alien band members are now!

One of my favorite episodes with Hep Alien is from ‘Tippecanoe and Taylor, Too‘ in Season 5 when the band is asked to play for Jackson’s campaign for Town Selectman. John Cabrera (Brian Fuller) recently told me how triumphant this episode was, with people in the crew, actors and producers all dancing in front of the stage during rehearsal. I think it’s that kind of energy that really shines through when the band performs in this episode.

Adam Brody (Dave Rygalski on Gilmore Girls) was recently spotted in my home town, Vancouver, where he was re-shooting scenes for his upcoming horror movie, Jennifer’s Body..

Jennifer’s Body is a FOX Atomic production from the pen of Diablo Cody (Juno). In the story, a gorgeous cheerleader named Jennifer (Megan Fox) who is possessed by a demon and goes on a feeding rampage around her small Minnesota farming town. Her rather plain friend Needy (Amanda Seyfried) decides she must try to kill her and then go after the Satan-worshipping rock band who transformed the cheerleader. Adam Brody stars as Nikolai Wolf, lead singer in the Satan-worshiping rock band.

Horror flick Jennifer’s Body is expected in theaters on September 18, 2009.

Adam Brody (Dave Rygalski on Gilmore Girls) went out last night to the GQ Men of the Year party held at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in LA. Barack Obama led the pack in the GQ list this year as “Game Changer”, while other men were honored in areas from Screen Idol to Radio Gods.

Adam Brody may be best known to us for his work in Gilmore Girls, but he was also a key character (Seth Cohen) in The OC. Since that ended as well in 2007, Adam has worked on 2 movies, Death in Love and Jennifer’s Body, the latter which will come out in 2009. There’s also a rumor that he’ll be in Justice League: Mortal.
