Arielle Kebbel Joins Cast of “Vampire Diaries”
Arielle Kebbel will be joining the cast of Vampire Diaries in the seventh episode which airs on October 22, 2009. The show is about a pair of vampire brothers, one good (Stefan) and one evil (Damon), who fight for the affection of a mortal girl named Elena in the small town of Mystic Falls, Virginia.
Arielle will be take on the role of Lexie, Stefan’s “oldest and best vampire friend.” I think she’s a great choice!
On Gilmore Girls, Arielle portrayed Lindsay Lister/Lindsay Forester and appeared in the following episodes between 2003-2004:

Arielle Kebbel at “Capitalism: A Love Story” Premiere
Arielle Kebbel (Lindsay Lister then Forester) attended the premiere of the new Michael Moore documentary, Capitalism: A Love Story, held at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences on September 15th. The new documentary looks at the “root causes of the global economic meltdown and takes a comical look at the corporate and political shenanigans that culminated in what Moore has described as the biggest robbery in the history…” The film has a limited release on September 23rd.
Arielle recently joined the cast of two new movies, Brooklyn to Manhattan and Trivial Pursuits.

Arielle Kebbel (Lindsay Lister then Forester) attended the DoSomething.org Power of Youth 2009 Teen Choice Awards Pre-Party held at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Hollywood on August 8th.
Since we last saw Arielle on the big screen for The Uninvited, she has completed 2 movies, Mardi Gras and Brooklyn to Manhattan, and has signed up for a third, Silver Cord.

Krysten Ritter (Lucy on Gilmore Girls) was seen out last night at the Nigel Barker and The HSUS (Humane Society of the United States) ‘A Sealed Fate?’ Photography Exhibition held at a gallery in LA. Meanwhile, Arielle Kebbel (Lindsay Lister then Forester) attended Maxim’s 10th annual Hot 100 Celebration last night in Santa Monica. Arielle was at #48 on the list this year.

The first, Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore on Gilmore Girls) starred in the cult classic, Sin City, which came out on DVD in 2005. On April 21st, that movie is coming to Blu-ray! Arielle Kebbel in “No Heroics”

Arielle Kebbel (Lindsay Lister then Forester) has been cast in a new ABC pilot, No Heroics, based on the successful British series of the same name.
Arielle will co-star with Freddie Prinze Jr. in the new ABC comedy, which revolves around 4 B-list superheroes, superheroes with less-than-formidable powers. Freddie plays the ‘bad’ superhero, the nemesis Bradley, aka Ultimatum. He’s countered by 3 ‘good’ B-list superheroes, played by Eliza Coupe, Arielle Kebbel and Paul Campbell, the latter of who will play their leader Pete, aka Chillout (he can freeze small objects).

Arielle Kebbel at “Watchmen” Premiere

Arielle Kebbel (Lindsay Lister then Forester on Gilmore Girls) attended the LA premiere of the new comic-to-film Watchmen last night at Grauman’s Chinese Theater.
Arielle’s movie, The Uninivted, opened in January at #3 at the weekend box office. It has grossed over $24 million since it opened. Arielle has 3 other movies scheduled to come out this year – stay tuned!
Jared & Arielle at “Friday the 13th” Premiere
Jared Padalecki (Dean Forester on Gilmore Girls) was joined on the red carpet last night by his Gilmore Girls ex-wife Arielle Kebbel (Lindsay Lister then Forester on GG) for the premiere of his upcoming film Friday the 13th which opens this Friday.
Although the two didn’t stand together for photos, it was great to see that they’re still friends after the show!
